Adult Recognition Dinner April 23rd, 2008 in Elgin
Congratulations to Janna L. for receiving the Honor Pin!
Congratulations to Mary T. for receiving the "Thanks
Badge" Girl Scouts highest award for an adult volunteer.
They were also recognized as Council Trainers. Janna L.
received her Experienced trainer's pin.
Mary T. also received Master Trainer status.
She was invited by Council to attend the GSUSA Spring Trainers
conference at the end of April where she helped gather lots of
information for our Council on the New Girl Scout Leadership
Experience. During the summer she will be helping Council adapt
current trainings to the
New Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This August she will be
attending a
GSUSA session at the Center for Leadership and Organizational
Excellence
at Macy Center in New York.
