Welcome Girl Scout Juliettes
It's a Girl's Life - Lead it!
What's a Juliette Girl Scout? Juliettes are girls who register and participate individually in Girl Scouts.
A Juliette does not attend troop meetings. She works on Girl Scout program with a parent or other adult mentor, and decides what Girl Scouting activities she wants to participate in and which earned recognitions she wishes to work on.
Who can be a Juliette? Any girl who is 6 through 17 years of age may become a Juliette Girl Scout. Adults who mentor and/or assist a Juliette may also register as an adult Girl Scout.
Why be a Juliette? It's a great way to be in Girl Scouts when some girls are too busy to be involved in a troop, but still want to do Girl Scout activities. It's a solution for girls who want to participate in council programs and choose to not be in a troop.
How much does it cost? The annual membership fee is $10.00. The fee provides accident insurance for girls participating in Girl Scout activities. Financial assistance is available. Events and programs offered throughout the year may have additional costs.
How do I register? Fill out the required information on the Girl Registration Form. This form is available from The Doubletree Service Unit Registrar and Juliettes Coordinator Evie Fiandaca @ ( elfian@comcast.net ). It is very important that you fill in your School Name on the Girl Registration Form. Have a parent or guardian sign your form.
How can adults help? Adults can assist in many ways - mentor a Juliette Girl Scout, share a special interest, help at an event, invite others to get involved.
As a Juliette, you may attend any service unit event. Please note that some events will require that your parent/guardian attend as well. Call the contact name listed under "Questions" on the event flier.
